Meet Team Digital EDG! – Leah Patterson

It’s my turn! I’m Leah Patterson, the Creative Storyteller here at Digital EDG. I’m responsible for most of the writing around here.

Here are some things to get to know me better!

5 fun facts about me:

I love peanut butter, chocolate and banana smoothies.

I play the viola and love it.

I spent a month in Beijing, China teaching latin dance.

I love science fiction and fantasy.

My favorite movie ever is a tie between Long Kiss Goodnight and Fantasia.

My credentials aka what makes me legit?:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Howard University

License in Esthetics (skincare specialist) from Dudley Beauty College

Fun fact – both of these institutions are historical pioneers in Black History.

What do I like most about the work we do at Digitial EDG?:  

I enjoy using my creative skills in various ways each day to help people with struggles that I intimately understand as a small business owner myself. It’s a great blessing to spend all day doing stimulating, creative work!

My favorite place in Little Rock:

Any patio on a warm day with just the right amount of sun and shade.

Did you know?

Did you know that Leah owns a few businesses here in Little Rock? She teaches latin dance, mainly salsa and bachata through her dance school, Leah’s School of Latin Dance and beautifies and empowers women through her natural & sweatproof makeup line, MOVE Makeup. She’s an advocate for suicide prevention also and writes extensively about the journey of overcoming depression and anxiety.
